James Chetcuti - A Photographer's Profile

"I want my images to portray the beauty of Australia and try to make people stop and appreciate what we have around us" says photographer James Chetcuti. James' images are stunning examples of the Australian landscape. They are images of what is all around us; scenes that, in the midst of our busy lives, we often take for granted."My goal is that for even a brief moment when people are viewing my images that they can feel a sense of relaxation, a little bit of time out for themselves. I don't think we get enough of that anymore."

Photographing since 1981, James draws his inspiration from his love of the Australian way of life and a desire to preserve the natural wonders this country holds, that all too often are threatened.

Previously, exhibitions were the only way for the public to view James Chetcuti's work. Now, with the opening of Expressions Of Australia in Brisbane City coupled with this website, everyone can view and own the work of this talented artist.

Currently working on a number of large projects, James is always on the lookout for ways to expand his vision.

He is an associate with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography and has received awards from this organisation for six consecutive years.

Being one of the most sought after landscape photographers in Australia his images are not only a pleasure to view but also a treasure to own.
